1. Who can apply?

  • Citizens of countries with a Working Holiday agreement with South Korea.

2. What documents do I need?

  • Completed visa application form (Form No. 17)
  • Valid passport and one photo
  • Visa application fee (waived for France and Chile)
  • Proof of onward travel (round-trip ticket)
  • Financial documents showing you can support yourself for at least 3 months in Korea (bank statement)
  • Travel itinerary and activity plan
  • Proof of medical insurance covering repatriation and medical care in Korea (not required for Australia and UK)
  • Proof of enrollment or graduation (depending on reciprocity with your country)
  • Criminal record check (required for specific countries, see the full list below)
  • Health check-up results (depending on reciprocity with your country)

3. Additional notes

  • Korean embassies may request extra documents depending on your situation.
  • The visa is valid for multiple entries over one year.
  • Initial stay is granted for up to one year.
